We’re a manufacturer and our software system is great at manufacturing but not good at generating reports. We need help in two areas.  The first area is creating some general reports.  The second area is creating gross margin reports.

For general reporting, the software will export CSV files but will not combine any data to make it easier for us to interpret.  For example, it will give us a CSV file that includes each order for the month but it will not give us the totals for each customer. To get that information, we need to sort everything in excel and then combine the totals.  We’re searching for someone to do a lot of combining of totals and then creating reports so we can easily see which products are sold most, which customers buy the most, and what our inventory consists of.

For gross margin reports, the software will export CSVs with all order information but it doesn’t add in all costing properly.  We would need someone to take this data, properly calculate the costing, manually add shipping costs (based on a different CSV file) and then create the reports.

We’re looking for someone who can help us out each month.  We’d provide instructions and the CSV files.  We’d need you to create the reports.
